Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FoodieRow collects, uses, and protects information you provide when using the platform. FoodieRow may update this policy at any time — continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current posted version.
1. Information We Collect
When you register or use FoodieRow, we collect information that falls into a few categories:
Account & Profile Information
- Name, email address, phone number, city, state
- Role (vendor or organizer)
- Business name, business email, website, social media handles
- Profile photos, logos, cover images
- Bio, cuisine type, vendor setup details, years in business
- Organizer organization name, event history, contact preferences
Event & Application Information
- Event listings you create, including dates, locations, vendor requirements, and payment structures
- Applications you submit, including menu highlights, setup descriptions, and messages
- Application status history
- Post-event confirmation and feedback submissions
Compliance Documents
- Business licenses, food permits, health certifications, insurance certificates, and other documents you upload
- Document expiration dates and review status
Payment & Transaction Information
- Payment transaction records (amounts, types, timestamps, statuses)
- Stripe session and payment intent identifiers
- We do not store full credit card numbers — payment details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe)
Platform Usage Data
- Pages visited, features used, search queries within the platform
- Login timestamps, browser type, device type, IP address
- Cookies and session data necessary to keep you logged in and the platform functioning
2. How We Use Your Information
FoodieRow uses the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the FoodieRow marketplace
- Match vendors with organizers and facilitate applications
- Process payments and track transaction records
- Collect, store, and display compliance documents for event participation
- Send transactional emails (application updates, event notifications, payout confirmations)
- Respond to support requests and resolve disputes
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
- Improve and develop platform features
- Meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising outside the FoodieRow platform.
3. Service Providers
FoodieRow uses trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform. These providers only access your information as needed to deliver services on our behalf, and are required to protect it. Key providers include:
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Resend / email provider — transactional email delivery
- Cloud hosting providers — server infrastructure and file storage
4. Protected Contact Information
FoodieRow protects vendor and organizer contact details (business email, phone, direct contact) until specific unlock conditions are met on the platform. This protects both parties and ensures interactions happen through the FoodieRow marketplace.
Contact information shared through the platform unlock process is made available solely for the purpose of completing a specific event engagement. It must not be used to solicit off-platform business or bypass future marketplace interactions.

5. Compliance Documents
Documents you upload to FoodieRow (licenses, permits, insurance certificates, etc.) are stored securely and made accessible to FoodieRow staff and, when applicable, to organizers reviewing your application for their event.
FoodieRow does not publicly display compliance documents. They are shared only as part of the vetting process for specific events where you have applied or been considered.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and activity records as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we may retain certain records for a reasonable period for legal, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and accounting purposes.
Payment and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with standard financial record-keeping practices.
7. Your Choices
You may update your profile information at any time through your account settings. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at support@foodierow.com. We will process reasonable requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional emails (application updates, payment receipts, event confirmations) are required for platform operation and cannot be individually opt-out while your account is active.
8. Security
FoodieRow uses industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel.
No system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your FoodieRow account and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Children's Privacy
FoodieRow is a business platform intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to FoodieRow, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
